Omega 11126 Shaving Brush.
Omega 11126 brush contains boar bristles, with the effect that bristles look like badger hair. The relatively long and narrow handle is made of beautiful dark ovenkol wood, which fits perfectly in the hand thanks to its design. At first, a wild boar’s bristle requires driving in, i.e. hard use, when its bristles start to split and the loft softens. Before lathering, remember to soak the bristles in warm water, which softens the bristles and prevents them from breaking.

OMEGA 11126 BRUSH Recommended for:
Both shaving creams and shaving soaps and all skin types. The brush bristles should be wet (not soaking) before use. Load the loft with soap or cream and apply it to the areas to be shaved, using a strong circular motion. This softens the hairs and also raises them ready for shaving.

How to use OMEGA 11126 BRUSH
We strongly recommend the following aftercare for your brush; When finished always rinse the brush under hot water (especially at the base of the bristles) to remove any remaining soap residue which can result in damage to the bristle and cause early shedding of the loft. The brush should then be stored loft facing down to dry. This can be achieved by using a shaving brush stand and preventing the bristles from rotting at the base due to moisture.
Shaving tip
When applying a shaving lather to your skin always use strong circular movements to help soften and raise the hairs and prepare the skin for shaving. The Omega 11126 boar bristle shaving brush is banded to look similar to badger shaving brushes. The handle is made of wood internal slots for accent. Always store your shaving brush with the loft/bristles pointing down, to allow excess moisture to drain away naturally. OMEGA 11126 BRUSH:
We’ve come to really like Omega brushes. Unlike some of the other brands who are leaders in all grooming products and happen to make brushes, Omega specializes in brushes only and the quality represents this. One thing we have noticed across the board with Omega brushes is their ability to hold water.
They can hold a ton of water. This makes the process of lathering much easier and more enjoyable. We suspect this ability to hold water can be chalked up to their roots in painting, either way, they work incredibly well. For the price, we believe Omega is a great brand to try. Omega has a lot of great products for beginners or veterans of wet shaving.
One thing to note with this is the quality of the lather you build will increase with the quality of the brush you buy. Your boar brush won’t build lather as well as your pure badger brush.

Pros:
Omega is a very economical brand. Whether you get a synthetic brush, badger, etc., the price is almost always below par for the market. Omega brushes always hold their soap very well, and they feel great on your face. Omega is a high-quality brush manufacturer from Italy, not a fly-by-night imitation company from China, respectively.
Cons:
Omega brushes aren’t the best dryer. It can sometimes take quite a while longer than other brands to sufficiently dry the brush. Also, the handles with the Omega brushes tend to feel a bit cheap, being made with plastic or light wood. A lot of people we come across tend to enjoy the large and heavy brushes because it gives them added control.
