Arya Diamond is a ‘Premium Jewel’ from Arya Tea Estate. It is a classic example of Second Flush Premium Tea. The finest made teas from pure Av2 Clones are marked as ‘DIAMOND’ making this a very limited available tea. The tea is perfectly made with long uncut wiry leaves with plenty of silver tips.

Arya is a tea estate that is renowned for both its clonal as well as Chinary cultivar teas. Some of the widely popular teas are Diamond, Emerald, Pearl, and Ruby. An organic tea garden with long leaf tea, located just a few kilometers below the Darjeeling town at an elevation of 1800 meters and has been very consistent in producing the distinct characteristics which are Darjeeling.

Arya Diamond White Tea

The character is very complex with a balance of sweetness, the typical Av2 woody character followed by the musky tone towards the finish. The sip is very comforting with a sweet floral aroma followed by the woody note on the palate and a perfect musky finish making this the most wonderful summer tea in our catalog.

The aftertaste is sweet musky mint-like and the tea has very little astringency. Overall this is an excellent limited edition Darjeeling Second Flush Tea.

DRY LEAVES: Fine rolled uncut coppery black leaves.
LIQUOR: Bright golden color with a sweet musky aroma.
INFUSION: Coppery dark brown crippled and semi-open leaves with a musky aroma.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:

• Freshwater brought to 1st Boil (95C).
• Add 1 teaspoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml.
• Steep for 4 minutes.
• Strain to cup and sip as it cools.
• The second and third steep gives the best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
