Giddapahar Spring Tea

Giddapahar Spring Tea China – First Flush comes from the farms of GIDDAPAHARI TEA ESTATE. This is a small garden nestled in the Kurseong Valley. It is known to produce some of the best traditional culinary cultivar teas which have a flavor of their own. Over the years the teas from this estate have become popular among tea connoisseurs all over the world.

The dry leaves are a bright shade of green and are uncut, The long curled leaves are good to look at. The aroma is of baked nuts and almonds. One of the important aspects of manufacturing good tea is drying the leaves at the right temperature.

We feel this tea has been manufactured at the perfect temperature which we can feel as soon as we take a whiff of the dry leaves. When brewed for full 4 minutes we get a light golden liquor that is full of floral notes with a nutty/woody undertone.

When we sip the liquor, we get a full round flavorful cup. It started with baked nutty notes and we feel wood tones by mid-sip. The tea leaves a sweet lingering aftertaste which only makes us crave for more. Overall a five-star tea for us.

If you want to try a traditional old-school Darjeeling First Flush, this classic tea is ideal. A true value for money tea. The tea is also good for 2 re-steeps.

DRY LEAVES: Bright green long twisted leaves with few silver tips.
LIQUOR: Bright golden yellow with a sweet floral aroma.
INFUSION: Bright green whole leaves with a floral woody aroma.
