Castleton Muscatel is probably the most sought-after tea from Darjeeling. The finest specimen defines ‘MUSCATEL’ in the finest way.
The leaves are medium-sized well rolled with a roasted almond-like aroma. When brewed for 4 minutes it gives a bright amber liquor which is an amazing perfect cuppa tea.
The flavor is rich and smooth and there are waves of delicious flavors hitting the palate.
The sip starts with a woody fruity tone which gets sweet musky by mid-sip and ends smoothly with a soft silky sweet mint-like aftertaste.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:
Freshwater brought to 1st Boil (95C). Add 1 teaspoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml. Steep for 4 minutes. Strain to cup and sip as it cools. The second and third steep gives best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
