Ringtong Tea First Flush Moon Shine is a CLASSIC CHINARY TEA from the farms of RINGTONG TEA ESTATE and this is the FIRST MANUFACTURING of this garden.
RINGTONG TEA ESTATE delivered some of the most preferred and appreciated teas last season and we had very high expectations this year too, especially after witnessing a good winter with enough rainfall.
The flush was delayed due to prolonged winter but after tasting this marvelous tea from RINGTONG TEA ESTATE we can say that this season is going to be one of the best that we have witnessed so far.
The tea is a ‘COMPLETE PACKAGE’. The dry leaves are in the shades of bright green and long curled leaves are a visual delight. The aroma is enthralling. It has a distinct floral aroma that makes one crave for a sip. When brewed for full 5 minutes, we get a perfect specimen of DARJEELING FIRST FLUSH.
The liquor is a light shade of yellow and has a soothing brightness to it. The sip is complete bliss. It has distinct notes of floral and ripe passion fruit. The best feature is that there is no grassy note to this tea. There is no astringency in this tea.
Overall we can say that this tea is for sure a remarkable tea and we hope to deliver more such amazing teas from the farms to your cups.
- DRY LEAVES: Bright green long twisted leaves with a soft bright tone.
- LIQUOR: Pale yellow with sweet fruity – mango-like aroma.
- INFUSION: Bright green with whole leaves and fruity aroma.
STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:
Freshwater brought to 1st Boil (90C). Add 1 teaspoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml. Steep for 3.5 minutes to 4 minutes. Strain to cup and sip as it cools. The second and third steep gives the best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
